It is important to know when to call us during the crucial phase of labor. We are available 24/7 for deliveries and emergencies on 06 42 61 01 99. Do not hesitate to call us in the middle of the night for urgent matters.
When to contact us?
In case of blood loss
Contact us immediately if you lose a lot of blood. A small amount of blood from mucus loss is normal, but excessive blood loss requires an immediate response regardless of the time of day.
Before 37 weeks of pregnancy and contractions
If your contractions have started and you are not yet 37 weeks pregnant, call us immediately. Premature birth requires special attention and care.
Before 37 weeks of pregnancy and loss of fluid
Call us immediately if you suspect that your water has broken and you are not yet 37 weeks pregnant.
From 37 weeks of pregnancy and regular contractions
If you are experiencing regular contractions that come every 4 to 5 minutes, call us. During the check-ups we discuss when is the best time to call, depending on your birth history.
From 37 weeks of pregnancy and ruptured waters
When membranes have ruptured, the color of the amniotic fluid is important. Call us during the day if you have clear, white or light pink amniotic fluid. Call us immediately if you see brown or green amniotic fluid, as this may indicate possible complications.
Head not descended and membranes broken
Call us immediately if the baby's head has not yet descended and your water breaks. Avoid unnecessary stairs and lie down.
