At Verloskundigen PuurBegin we are pleased to guide you on this special journey, from the first signs of your pregnancy to the arrival of your precious child. We offer professional care combined with a personal and warm approach.

Early ultrasound at 7 weeks

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Come in for an early ultrasound at 7 weeks to get a first look at your growing baby. This ultrasound can provide a lot of reassurance and we will reimburse the costs for you.

First check at 10 weeks

At 10 weeks, the term ultrasound will take place to determine the duration of your pregnancy, followed by an intake interview. We will discuss your medical history and other important matters to get a complete picture of your situation.

Regular checks: an overview

Standard checks will take place during your pregnancy. These appointments are crucial to monitor your health and that of your baby.

Check-ups up to 24 weeks

You will come for a check-up every 4 weeks until 24 weeks of pregnancy.

Check-ups between 24 and 30 weeks

From 24 weeks onwards you will have a check-up every 3 weeks, where the focus will also be on preparation for childbirth.

Check-ups from 30 to 36 weeks

From 30 weeks onwards we see each other every 2 weeks, with increasing attention to the upcoming birth.

Check-ups from 36 weeks until delivery

From 36 weeks onwards, weekly checks take place until delivery begins.

Ultrasounds during pregnancy

Ultrasounds are an important part of your pregnancy. In addition to the early ultrasound and the term ultrasound, you will be offered standard medical ultrasounds at 13 and 20 weeks.

Medical ultrasound at 13 and 20 weeks

These ultrasounds are intended to closely monitor your baby's development and to identify any abnormalities at an early stage.

Fun ultrasound and gender determination ultrasounds

For those extra special moments, we offer fun ultrasounds and gender determination ultrasounds. These ultrasounds are at your own expense and offer a unique opportunity to get an extra glimpse of your baby.
